Shake hands with your enemy Now My Friend, today I'm going to give you a difficult task as your assignment, as you pursue your ultimate goal of striving to become perfect. And what is that difficult task some may say, with a rather worried look on their furrowed brow. My Friend, I want you to follow the instructions given in today's title, and thus 'Shake hands with your enemy'. Just imagine for a minute here today, what a very positive impact it would have on our present day world, if it was possible to get literally everyone around the globe to shake hands with their enemy. In effect, we'd have a world for the very first time at peace, a world where people allowed the love of God WITHIN them, to shine forth to unite with the inner Divine Love WITHIN their former enemies. Now, some pessimistic, completely negative people may say, this will never happen. Well of course, if people the world over continue to have negative attitudes, thus continuing to feel that it could never happen, it never will! However, I'm an optimist and I sincerely hope you are too; so let us believe in our hearts and souls, that we can indeed change the world, one person at a time. And of course to do this, we obviously need to change ourselves FIRST! That's right, instead of trying to change the world right now, why not just concentrate your efforts on changing yourself, by singling out a former enemy, and making a very definite resolution to warmly shake that person's hand TODAY! Yes My Friend, if we start to endeavor to change the hearts and souls of the entire world population, it may indeed appear to be a most daunting task, it may appear to many to actually be impossible. However, if we just start with ourselves by changing our own feelings toward those whom we perceive to be our enemy; we will in fact have in no uncertain terms, actually started the task of changing the whole world, thus making it a much more loving, peaceful, and safe place for all to abide in. So, please take your assignment today seriously by shaking the hand of a former enemy. If every single member of my reading audience does this, we'll have collectively made a very definite, and indeed positive start toward creating a world full to capacity with love, and peace. What a truly beautiful thought this is to contemplate; and My Friend, it is indeed most feasible, once we all dedicate ourselves to this most worthwhile task. So My Friend, will you now DO IT, that is play your part today in creating a much better world for all? I sincerely hope so, for all of our sakes! THINK ABOUT IT!
